Halifax rap veteran Quake has teamed up with Caribbean newcomer, Kayo to release a collaborative 12 track EP entitled 'The Search".

The Search is a conceptual piece that tells a story of a person on a journey to find themselves. Each track is strategically placed in the album to follow the story line. It follows the artists embarking on this 'search', getting lost in the ambiguity of the world and eventually coming to the realization that one's journey must first start from within.

The pair worked alongside each other for Quake’s debut album The Myth when the project came to fruition. After Kayo appeared on 3 tracks for the record, it was clear the chemistry between the two deserved a full-length release. From that moment on, The Search was born, and the duo began recording for the project. Producers on The Search include Ritchcraft, 2oolman, Tone Mason, Scena, Dj Soul and Yogi from Studio 9, St Lucia.
